Seminar “Teaching and learning, key challenges in quality assurance (Best EU practice)”

On 4-5 November 2021 the two-day online seminar was attended more than 60 people from 46 higher education institutions. The event was organised by the National Erasmus+ Office of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education and the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education. The main speaker was Dr. Oliver Vettori from Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria). 
 
Main objectives of the seminar:
-From teaching to learning: Traditional challenges and some novel approaches
-Designing effective courses: Activating your prior knowledge
-Pedagogical methodologies used abroad: some international examples
-Quality indicators in teaching and learning

The participants have mentioned that the event was very relevant to the current reforms in the HE system of the country. The participants were satisfied of the presentations and Q&A of the EU expert Professor Oliver Vettori. The event was organised in online format. Q&A sessions following each presentation let to participants to discuss the TAM topic. Discussions during the two-day seminar provided the participants with an opportunity to clarify some points of collaborative learning and quality indicators in teaching and learning.
